A new chapter for WIIT
Women in Immersive Tech Europe is evolving.
Europe stands at a turning point. As AI, spatial computing, and other emerging technologies reshape our societies, inclusion can no longer be an afterthought. Algorithms and systems that shape our lives, work, and trust must reflect Europe’s diversity, or risk deepening inequality.
Many inspiring initiatives exist to support women in tech, but most intervene too late, once industries and hierarchies are established. WIIT focuses on the steepest curve of the innovation cycle, when new technologies are still being defined and early participation can shape their growth.
We help women step into frontier industries early, when influence is still possible, and redefine what leadership in technology looks like, rooted in empathy, ethics, and impact.
We’re now expanding our mission beyond immersive tech to champion women across all industries of tomorrow, from AI and quantum to biotech and climate innovation. Goals
Women in Industries of Tomorrow (formerly Women in Immersive Tech Europe) is about community and opportunity. Our mission is to help women enter and thrive in frontier industries - from immersive tech and AI to climate, biotech, and quantum - when influence is still possible.
We do this by focusing on four pillars:
